FIU Faculty and their Families Visit the Garden

Saturday, March 16, 2019

During March 16, a group of 15 FIU Faculty visited the Garden where they were hosted by Dr. Hong Liu (FIU-Earth & Environment and Adjunct Researcher in the Garden). The party belonged to different FIU units and the invitation was extended to their families. The visit targeted particularly faculty with China background. The event aimed to provide a broad introduction to the many educational, research, and horticulture activities of the Garden within an international setting. Our gratitude to Javier Francisco-Ortega (FIU-Biology and Adjunct Researcher in the Garden) and Rose Ricks for their help with the logistics of this visit.
