 Fairchild‘s Director Publishes Article for Prestigious Nature Publication


October 3, 2008, Coral Gables, FL--Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden‘s Executive Director, Mike Maunder, recently published the article Beyond The Greenhouse, in the prestigious publication, Nature. Nature, launched in 1869, is the world‘s foremost weekly scientific journal and is the flagship journal for Nature Publishing Group (NPG).

In his article, Dr. Maunder discusses the need for botanic gardens to thrive both as businesses and as institutions of learning.
