Orchid Show & Exhibition - Garden House 

Marvel at dazzling displays and award-winning orchids, presented by the Orchid Society of Coral Gables 

Orchid Odyssey - Rainforest 
Experience beautiful displays of orchids, nestled throughout the rainforest. 

The Million Orchid Project STEMLab
Climb aboard the STEMLab, Fairchild's state-of-the-art mobile botanical micropropagation laboratory and learn how to propagate rare and endangered orchids of South Florida as part of Fairchild's Million Orchid Project. While on board, join our conservation team by assisting in the process of "deflasking" orchid seedlings and take a closer look at orchid seeds under microscopes to understand why they have become so rare in our community. And, don't miss the opporutnity to take home your own orchid seedling kit! 

OrKids Learning Stations
Learn about the important research students from Fairchild's own Botany Magnet High School, BioTECH @ Richmond, are conducting in the Garden. 
• Native Butterfly Garden - learn about how native butterflies interact with their hosts 
• Bailey Palm Glade - learn about the impact of Hurricane Irma on our lakes 
• Science Village Labs - learn how 10th grade students are experimenting with different growth mediums to grow endangered orchids
