Instructor: Hillary Parker
Identify, observe, sketch, and paint the many different types of beautiful local and migratory birds found at Fairchild. This wonderful class provides a great opportunity for artists of all levels to learn more about the lifestyles of birds while they develop and practice important drawing and watercolor techniques including washes and dry brush detail work. Students will create beautiful bird studies that also include feathers and nests of birds that call Fairchild home.
A note about your supplies for this class: For those students who have previously taken Hillary’s classes please plan to bring all of your drawing and watercolor supplies from her previous painting classes. For new students, a supply list will be available. As an option, for a $30 supply fee all art supplies will be provided for use during class time only.
