Instructor: Hillary Parker
This drawing class is for all levels of drawing ability as well as a great refresher for those advanced watercolor artists who have not drawn in a while! Creating a drawing in preparation for a painting in watercolors is very different than drawing something for any other purpose. Students will gain confidence in their ability to create informative drawings as the groundwork for painting with watercolors while developing and fine tuning skills of keen observation and effective drawing. This will help develop and strengthen awareness of form, mass, light, texture and details in order to better support your future watercolor paintings. A note about your supplies for this class: For those students who have previously taken Hillary's classes please plan to bring all of your drawing and watercolor supplies from her previous painting classes. For new students, a supply list will be available. As an easy and economic option; all art supplies will be provided for use during class time only, for a one-time $30 supply fee. This fee would be paid directly to the instructor on the first day of class.
