Instructor: Hillary Parker
This class is a great opportunity for everybody who is inspired by the Garden and the Chihuly at Fairchild exhibition. Enjoy the cool and pleasant outdoors to capture the beauty and create first sketches of the marvelous surroundings. This class is open to novice and experienced artists alike who are interested in joining us as we explore, sketch and paint the various gardens and picturesque vistas at Fairchild. Students create hand bound art journals while working at their own levels “plein air style” at various locations, learning to comfortably and effectively use graphite, pen and ink, colored pencils and watercolors. Time will be evenly spent outside and in the classroom studio.
