CAPTURING THE BUTTERFLY IN COLOR PENCIL - Section A

Classes at Fairchild

When: Tuesday, October 2, 2018 1:30 PM to Tuesday, October 2, 2018 3:30 PM

Instructor: Carlos Gallostra

One of Nature's wonders, the butterfly will serve as the muse for this workshop in color studies. Using butterfly specimens from the Wings of the Tropics collection, the student will develop studies in colored pencil on paper from direct observation. These sustained studies will promote a better understanding in concepts addressing color theory, associative measurement, and composition. These studies will surely compliment any other course in visual arts and add to the artist's overall body of work.

1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Tuesdays, October 2 – 30
