EDIBLE ART KIDS CAMP WITH HILLARY PARKER (for ages 8-11)
Join naturalist and artist Hillary Parker as we have fun creating and illustrating some delicious edible art! This art camp is for kids who love art, nature, food and want to develop and build strong art skills.

Your budding artist will have fun working in the studio and exploring Fairchild’s collections as we sketch and gather edible plants, fruits, and veggies. Back in the art studio we’ll create, prepare and sample their recipes!

Kids will be illustrating their own Edible Art cookbook of new and exciting recipes this year from the endless inspiration of edible plants at Fairchild.

On the last day art campers will present their illustrated books and samples of their recipes they have created to family and friends. On the first day of camp a $10 fee will be collected for art supplies provided by the instructor.

All programs offer indoor and outdoor activities through Fairchild’s living laboratory.

Each session is week-long.

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Week 1: June 10 to 14

Fee: Member child, $185; Non-member child, $225
