'Sunset': Sunset is of unknown parentage from the grove of Mr. Frank Adams, Pine Island. Flavor rich, aromatic, and sweet with a strong pleasant aroma
'Nam Doc Mai': is among the best known dessert mangos of Thailand. The fruit are most often eaten when ripe, when the flesh is soft and juicy, with a sweet and aromatic flavor. Nam Doc Mai, like most Southeast Asian mangos has no fiber
'Valencia Pride': another of the high-quality seedlings from South Florida, selected in the late 1940s. It is long and slender with a slight sigmoid shape. The fruit are large, weighing from 20 to 30 oz, and are a bright yellow with crimson to red blush over the sun-exposed portions of the fruit.
'Saigon': seeds were shipped to the United States from Saigon in 1902 and planted at the USDA plant introduction station in Miami, FL for observation. The yellow flesh is completely fiberless and has a mild sweet flavor.
'Mangifera casturi': One of the while mangos from Borneo, than grows flood plains. Small fruit deep purple with bright orange flesh than taste like lychees.
'Jakarta': Jakarta was selected in Florida for its striking color and outstanding flavor. The flesh is a tender and juicy deep yellow, with a rich and spicy flavor. This mango has a true a Caribbean influence, with a flavor reminiscent of some of the best Caribbean cultivars
'Pickering': is another selection from South Florida. The fruit has flesh is dark yellow, tender and juicy, with a mild, sweet flavor.
'Extrema': Selected in Brazil, with a aprticular shape like an apple. Sweet and pleasant flavor.
'Siamese': It came to Florida from Singapure, it is probably a differente specie than the mangifera indica. Fruit has particular smoide shape, and good flavor.
'Z-L-17': Florida Cultivar, with a 'carrie' flavor.
'Jean Ellen': Selected by Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, sweet, yellow and rich flavor.
'Ah Pink': originated as a seedling in a home garden in Molokai, Hawaii. The color can be quite similar to Haden. The fruit are eaten when fully ripe and aromatic, when the dark orange flesh is sweet and rich with flavor.
'Cac': Originated in Vietmam. Outstanding flavor.
