In 2008, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden volunteers formed a Garden-to-Garden Committee whose purpose is to raise funds to support FTBG partner gardens around the world as well as Fairchild projects.  In Garden-to-Garden's first project, funds were used to purchase tools and equipment for the Arboretum d'Antsokay in Madagascar to help develop a regional conservation center for their unique spiny forests.

In spring 2009, Garden-to-Garden raised funds to support the Retreat, an 11 acre garden in the heart of Nassau, Bahamas.   The funds helped the Retreat to restore the habitat around their "Green Hell" sinkhole.

Garden-to-Garden Committee members organize and plan all aspects of these fundraising events from researching appropriate projects to selling tickets, planning raffles and competitions and soliciting community support.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
