The ChocoWalk Passport Expedition: A Delicious Journey

Get ready to go on a delicious expedition! Get your ChocoWalk Passport stamped while exploring the Garden from the Rainforest to the Tropical Fruit Pavilion, to the Cacao Route Tent, and learn all about the fruit of the gods! Be sure to visit all of the stops along the ChocoWalk to collect all stamps and to enjoy exciting information about chocolate and to participate in fun interactive activities!

From the seed to the chocolate bar and everywhere in-between, our distinguished scientists, chefs, horticulturists and chocolatiers will accompany you on an educational and gastronomical experience into the world from cacao to chocolate. A must-see for adults and children alike, the living history of cacao and chocolate at Fairchild is not to be missed.

Cacao and Chocolate Orchid Sales: Take home your very own cacao tree and making chocolate in your own kitchen! Or grab a Oncidium "Sharry Baby" chocolate scented orchid!

Wings of the Tropics 

Visit Clinton Family Conservatory featuring the the Wings of the Tropics exhibit to enjoy thousands of exotic butterflies along with hummingbirds, fish and some of the world most beautiful rare plants. You will see the famous Blue Morpho butterflies, Bamboo Page butterflies, Leopard Lacewing butterflies and hummingbird hovering overhead. There are butterfly releases twice daily, where kids of all ages will have a chance to experience these winged wonders up close.

Orchid Odyssey 

While on your ChocoWalk Passport Expedition, be sure to experience the beautiful exhibit Orchid Odyssey, a truly tropical display of rare orchids, in the widest variety of species and colors you'll find anywhere. The Simons Rainforest features a colorwheel of beautiful orchids from around the world. Over two acres of rainforest and orchids in a beautiful display of nature's magic.
