Classes at Fairchild

Greetings Students!

Your creativity will begin to flow when you look through this winter class schedule. There are many classes specifically designed for you to and can be applied to your lifestyle in the garden, home surroundings and kitchen.

The horticulture section offers a number of valuable classes including growing orchids from the Million Orchid project, bromeliads, native plants, beekeeping, butterfly attracting plants and tropical fruit trees in your garden.

Would you like to explore your artistic side? Choose from one of several mediums to get your artistic spirit flowing. Here’s your chance to learn watercolors, pastels, oils and acrylics or how to draw using pen, pencil or graphite. The bounty of the Garden will be your subject as you become inspired.  By signing up for a class in our Winter schedule, you will be eligible to participate in our annual FAB exhibit and sale which takes place in the Spring. Your friends and family will have the opportunity to attend the opening reception as your prouldly display your masterpieces.

Those enthusiastic photographers and iPhoneographers will be able to capture the tropical beauty of the Garden morning, noon and night. We offer a variety of opportunities for classes at Fairchild and also in the Everglades.

This is your opportunity to include Fairchild’s classes in your plans for the upcoming months and we hope that you will encourage your family and friends to join you in the Fairchild experience.
