Join us during the 71st Annual Ramble for Fairchild’s second green design and furniture show. Design: Fairchild celebrates beauty and eco-innovation, bringing together some of South Florida’s most talented green designers to showcase their works. View innovative furniture and artwork made out of sustainable materials, found wood, recycled plastic bottles and other repurposed materials.

2011 Exhibitors:

Austin Matheson is a local furniture maker and designer creating custom handmade furniture on commission.  He specializes in colonial West Indian furniture and strives to use locally sourced hardwood and reclaimed materials in his work.

FOUND Design Miami is Wynwood's only refurbished, vintage, one-of-a-kind furniture and home decor store. Run by a mother-daughter-daughter design team, FOUND specializes in up-cycling used materials into unique and affordable pieces for your home.

Gerry Stecca is a sculptural installation artist whose preferred medium is sustainable wood clothespins, reminding us of alternative ways to save energy.

Greenworks Cabinetry is one of the few dedicated green cabinet manufacturers in the U.S.  They produce green closet systems and vanities and also do custom millwork.

Luis Pons D-Lab is a conceptual design laboratory. Founder Luis Pons delights in the potential of materials, reinterpreting ordinary objects to reveal new meanings.

Matt Steckley is a furniture designer and maker focused on reducing a design to its bare minimum, allowing the beauty of the wood and form to be fully appreciated. Matt’s favorite local woods to reclaim are Cuban mahogany and albizia.

Mike Rivamonte's whimsical sculptures inspire children and adults around the world. He repurposes rare and collectible objects assembling them to bring life to his imagination.

Miles Black uses 100% post-consumer hardwood lumber and reclaimed woods to make one-of-a-kind furniture.

Rick Orgaz has been collecting local native hardwoods and making fine furniture for over 30 years in Miami.

Rocky Lyons, Michael Tisdale, Bryan Bistrong and Brian Booth take reclaimed local hardwoods and create contemporary furniture design.  The wood they use is collected after coming down from natural causes or from construction.  Rebecca Kyrouac is an artist who uses imagery from the natural world to create metal light panels for both interior and exterior spaces.
