The Portrait Society is pleased to present the 2012 Miami Portrait Academy, sponsored by the Miami Arts and Entertainment Council and the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. This two day event includes an illustrated lecture by artist and professor David Chang about John Singer Sargent, a plein air painting demonstration by Hodges Soileau at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and a plein air painting workshop on the grounds of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens under the instruction of Hodges Soileau, David Chang and Kerry Vosler.
