INDIAN TAPAS: POPULAR TEA TIME SNACKS FROM INDIA with Chef Billo Jolly
Here’s your chance to learn how to make Indian Tapas such as Poha, flattened rice, cooked in different parts of India as a special snack served at breakfast or tea time; Muthia, made with gram flour and vegetable (Fenugreek) steamed dumplings; Fruit Chaat, a colorful and refreshing spicy fruit salad, Dhokla, a light and fluffy steamed flour snack which is a popular snack from the state of Gujarat, Besan Paare, a crispy and crunchy gram flour cracker and last but not least Cereal Chivda, a mix of different cereals, spices and nuts when combined makes a quick and easy mildly spiced snack. This is a hands-on class; bring an apron and your appetite for tasty tapas – Indian style.
