Celebrate National Honey Bee Day at Fairchild

Saturday and Sunday, August 17 and 18

Time: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Fruit Market open with fresh-made smoothies, honey, bee wax cream, bee wax candles, banana honey bread, etc. for sale. 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Tours of the Edible Garden including information on the active beehive. Meet at the entrance of the Tropical Fruit Pavilion. 11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Discovery cart with information on pollinators and their importance in food production. 

Sunday, August 18

11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
