Celebrate Earth Day at Fairchild!
There's no better place to celebrate Earth Day than at Fairchild with fun walks through the Garden!
Earth Day’s Walking Tour schedule:
7:45-9:30 a.m. Start the day with our Early-Bird Walk at the Visitor Center (See Early-Bird Walk details here).
10:15 and 11:15 a.m. Morning tours begin at the Visitor Center. They may include: The Tropical Flower Garden, the Arboretum, native plants, the Victoria pool, the Lin Lougheed Spiny Forest of Madagascar and the historic vine pergola.
10:45 and 11:45 a.m. Take the Montgomery Palmetum walking tour and learn all you wanted to know about palms! Walks start at the Cycad Circle.
1:15 and 2:15 p.m. Afternoon tours begin at the Cycad Circle. They may include: The Montgomery Palmetum or the two-acre Richard H. Simons Rainforest with its captivating stream, waterfalls and surrounding areas.
11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Visit the Discovery Cart at the South Florida Butterfly Garden, and learn how to create your own butterfly garden at home and learn about butterflies’ life cycle.
