Come join us for this family fun educational event, where you can see the intrepid Python Pete and a Burmese python, hear stimulating public lectures on conservation and natural history and learn about activities by non-for-profit organizations in support of Everglades National Park.
Featured speakers and topics from Everglades National Park biologists are:
Fairchild's conservation ecologist Joyce Maschinski will discuss:
"Collecting Seeds to Save the Park's Rarest Species: A Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, Center for Plant Conservation and Everglades National Park Collaborative project," and
"The many facets of Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden's South Florida Conservation Program."
The Friends of the Everglades will have their Founders Day Celebration in the Garden House.
