Eight-time Oscar nominated film composer James Newton Howard, whose most recent projects include The Bourne Legacy, Snow White and the Huntsman, and The Hunger Games, conducts the Frost School of Music’s dynamic Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra "under the stars" at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in a spectacular concert you won't want to miss. The exciting program features dramatic selections from his most popular original soundtracks such as King Kong, Water for Elephants, Batman: The Dark Knight, Wyatt Earp, Pretty Woman, The Sixth Sense, Signs, Snow Falling on Cedars, The Village, Treasure Planet and more. The cinematic orchestral music is performed live to corresponding film clips projected onto a giant outdoor screen. Enjoy hearing this incredible music in a beautiful outdoor concert setting—live to picture—the ultimate surround sound!
