For the Kids Saturday and Sunday

Butterflies are enchanting, and a beautiful way to introduce your child to the wonders of Nature. Come have fun while learning!

Follow the "pied piper" from the Garden Café to our children's music program in the Corbin Building. Your child will hear original butterfly music and get to play instruments with musicians Laura Schrier-Coe, Michael Malone, Bonnie Boddicker and Jack Sklepowicz.

Sit and listen as Sandy Lysinger's lovely voice captures your child's attention with a reading from The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, with beautiful illustrations.

Make butterfly art from recycled materials with Miami's very own ReThink + ReUse Center. Children will have meaningful learning experiences with discarded clean business waste to promote innovative solutions for a cleaner tomorrow.

Admission: Free to Fairchild members and children 5 and under. Non-members: $20 for adults, $15 for seniors 65 and up and $10 for children 6-17. If you ride your bike, walk or use public transportation, admission is $15 for adults and $8 for children.
