Yupo: Creating Abstracts in Watercolors
Classes at Fairchild
When: Thursday, January 21, 2016 10:00 AM to Thursday, January 21, 2016 1:00 PM
Calling all watercolor artists! Do you want to loosen up and put your traditional watercolor paper aside? Come and join Lynda as she lets you s-t-r-e-t-c-h your creativity using both a process and surface that may be unfamiliar to you. Unlike paper, YUPO allows paint removal after drying – unwanted images are gone with a swipe. Expand your horizons and paint in a whole new manner. Abstract images will be encouraged, so a review of composition formats will precede the painting process. Fairchild will supply the YUPO. Our talented instructor will bring in her own YUPO abstracts to view and to inspire you with the endless possibilities that you can create. Supply list provided upon registration. Students must have basic knowledge of watercolors. This class is a unique chance for you to let go of any restraints you may have in watercolors!
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Thursdays, January 21 – February 11 (four sessions)
Fee: Member, $145; Non-member, $195
