THE FAIRCHILD PALMS HOST FIRST TASTE OF ESPAÑA

The very first Taste of España, a Flamenco-style celebration that‘s part of the Taste of the Tropics series,will be held rain or shine on Saturday, June 23 from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. Come and dine on delicious Spanish cuisine, sip wine, beer and sangria and see spectacular shows. When you‘re ready to rest your tired dancing feet, take a sunset tram tour of beautiful Fairchild Garden. Don‘t miss a special Spanish wine tasting from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

 Ticket prices for Palms members: $40 in advance, $55 at the door. Non-members: $55 in advance, $70 at the door. Purchase tickets on-line at www.fairchildgarden.org. Reservations recommended.  About The Fairchild Palms

Founded in 2000, the Fairchild Palms, Fairchild‘s young professionals‘ volunteer group is comprised of South Florida‘s future leaders. The mission of the Fairchild Palms is to increase awareness of the depth and scope of Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden through outreach, education and entertainment and to raise funds to support Fairchild‘s scientific initiatives, education and conservation programs.  Working in tandem with Fairchild‘s other philanthropic groups, the Fairchild Palms helps to raise funds to support The Fairchild Challenge, one of Fairchild‘s educational programs. The group also works to increase awareness of this South Florida treasure, by bridging the educational gap among emerging professionals in the community.
