Phyllis the Amorphophallus produced two flowers this year. One didn't last very long; the other was bigger and sturdier. As I walked by one morning, I found an anole looking around from atop Phyllis' bonnet. Hard to say just what he/she was thinking, but probably something akin to 'where the heck am I?'
This is the first time the plant has produced two flowers at once. Were they twins?
