GALA IN THE GARDEN TO RAISE FUNDS FOR FAIRCHILD GARDEN’S
EDUCATION AND CONSERVATION INITIATIVES
Coral Gables, FL, December 2015 – The 23rd Annual Gala in the Garden at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden celebrates the advancements made throughout the year and those individuals who generously support Fairchild’s growth. Notable philanthropists from South Florida and beyond meet for an evening of unmatched beauty, delicious food, dancing, and charity. Proceeds benefit Fairchild’s programs in education, conservation science, and horticulture. This black-tie event is co-chaired by Swanee DiMare and Frances Sevilla-Sacasa and will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 6:30 p.m.
This year’s Gala, themed “Starry, Starry Night,” begins with a cocktail reception under the stars and silent auction featuring luxury getaways and world-class experiences. Dinner and dancing follow in the lakeside marquee, which will be decorated in midnight blue with tiny lights adorning the ceiling like stars. Le Basque catering will serve a gourmet dinner and the Soul Survivors Orchestra will provide the entertainment, all culminating in an unforgettable evening of tropical beauty.
Gala in the Garden was recently named one of “Five Balls and Galas You Can’t Miss” in Miami Magazine’s November 2015 issue.
Individual tickets start at $750, and tables for ten can be reserved for $7,500. To purchase tickets, please contact Susannah Shubin at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 305-667-1651, ext. 3375. For more information, please visit www.fairchildgarden.org/Gala.
