Emma Marris, Writer
Wednesday, January 7, 2015
7:00 p.m.

Author of Rambunctious Garden: Saving Nature in a Post-Wild World, Emma Marris will explain how there is virtually no untouched wilderness on Earth, and then go on to explore how this realization, which initially seems sad, actually free us up to use new and exciting approaches to saving species, ecosystems and even wildness. Her lecture will weave in examples of how these ideas play out in the private garden and how even a window box can help save species. Book signing to follow lecture.
