Tickets are required for this event. $10 for Fairchild members, $15 for non-members. Tickets are free with purchase of Star Island at Books & Books prior to the event.

7th Annual Butterfly Days at Fairchild

The Shop at Fairchild's Fall Sale

Saturday, October 2 to Sunday, October 17, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Enjoy 20 -75% off storewide. Fairchild members can take an additional 10% off regularly priced merchandise. There will be a special member preview on Friday, October 1.

2nd Annual Bird Day at Fairchild

Sunday, October 3, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Bird walks and informative lectures combined with children’s activities and bird attracting plants make this event fun for bird experts and novices alike. 

Plant Show and Sale Presented by the Bonsai Society of Miami

Saturday and Sunday, October 9 and 10, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Award winning bonsai trees will be on display and visitors will have the opportunity to purchase bonsai plants and the materials needed to create your own very own bonsai. 

The Fairchild Challenge Presents:
Florida Ecosystems High School Presentations

Wednesday, October 20, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Students perform mini-musicals reflecting the changes in Florida’s ecosystems. This event is free and open to the public.

Fairchild will participate in a unique two-day event, Love Where You Live – The Shopping Benefit to Support Your Community at Bloomingdale’s five Florida stores.

Love Where You Live will feature storewide entertainment, fashion events and special savings at Bloomingdales. Fairchild will sell tickets for $10.00 each and 100% of these proceeds benefit programs at Fairchild. Ticket holders will receive a certificate for 15 to 20% savings off Bloomingdale’s regular and sale-priced merchandise on both days of the event (with limited exclusions).

Fairchild’s Edible Garden Festival and The Scarecrow Contest

Saturday and Sunday, October 23 and 24, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Learn everything you need to know to get your vegetable garden going with talks, workshops, demos and more. And it’s not too early to design your own original scarecrow to enter into our annual scarecrow contest!
