Thursday through Sunday, October 4 – 7, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. This event begins with birding tours on Thursday and Friday and culminates with a weekend full of activities to inspire life-long ‘birders’ and bird novices alike. Leading ornithological experts, including Pete Dunne, will give presentations and answer your bird questions. Take a Bird Walk with an expert birder, buy bird-attracting plants for your garden and learn all about our feathered friends at this annual event! Friday, October 5, 1:00 p.m. (The first Friday of every month) Bring your plant cutting or sample to Fairchild’s Herbarium and participate in our Plant Identification Workshop. Wednesday, October 31, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Enjoy special activities for pups as you parade through Fairchild’s lush surroundings showing off your Howl-o-ween costumes.
